Ankita Roy | Shakun |Ashish Katiyar

Agenda of the project:

To carry out research on how different training platforms operate and come up with strategies to carry out the new initiative of Startup Village, which aims at converting 1000 student developers into professional mobile app developers, in the most efficient and cost effective way.

Our Approach:
Our approach to the live project by Startup Village is as follows:

Deep understanding of client requirements Thorough analysis of available training platforms Discussion with industry experts Selection of most suitable technologies using a matrix Conducting a pilot study to gauge effectiveness
Final Recommendation
Step 1: We will develop a deep understanding of the new initiative of Startup village so we can make the right suggestions to help them achieve those goals. We will understand and document all the requirements to meet all expectations. Step 2: We will carry out a thorough analysis of all available training platforms for mobile app development. Some of the suggested training platforms are: 1. Instructor led classroom training at Startup Village

2. On-site training at colleges and training institutes near students led by Startup Village instructors 3. A web-based training platform Web-based platform enables students to take training classes at their convenience and pace Offers an unlimited number of training courses to meet their needs Students can start from different levels of difficulty based on pre-course results Facility to set deadlines and send reminders to ensure trainings are completed on time Online tests and issuance of certificates to trainees upon successful completion of the course Study material can be downloaded by trainees Our current study reveals that several free training platforms are available online. Some of these platforms include moodle, udemy, learnopia etc. We will analyse how these open-source programs can be customized to meet the goals of Startup Village. We will carry out a study of the courses which need to be imparted to students for a successful career as a mobile app developer. We will gauge the interest of various colleges and training institutes in collaborating with Startup village in this training initiative and the costs involved in partnering with them.

Step 3: Having worked in the IT industry, we will engage into discussions with industry experts to get their views about the latest and most successful training technologies. We will consider their suggestions while selecting the training platforms. Step 4: We will design a matrix containing all the training platforms we have analysed and weigh them according to their pros, cons and implementation costs. We will select the best two alternatives having the highest weighted scores. Step 5: We will conduct a pilot study with the two selected training platforms This will enable us to gauge the effectives of the platforms in increasing the productivity of the students and determining the pace with which students can pick up the concepts and apply them in app development.

Step 6: The training platform which gives the best results will be finally recommended. A combination of platforms will be suggested based on the effectiveness study to best meet the diverse training requirements of students with different needs.
