Please send along with this form copies of recommendations from churches which will encourage other churches to support your missionary work. There are churches which will not allow a visiting missionary to speak unless a church recommendation can be shown. Since it is impos sible for any one person to know all Christians in the world, this recommendation by a respon sible New Testament church is a vital help in persuading others of your worthiness and the value of your mission. Mission Services stands ready to help you inform HORIZONS readers about your church recommendations. Since the church is sending you to the mission field (Acts 13:1-3) and will help provide the necessary needs on the field, naturally the church should share the credit in your missionary ministry. One of the ways that the church can do this is to share their conviction regarding your missionary ministry with others. Certainly, their words will help convince others regarding the worthiness of your work. Please help MISSION SERVICES to spread your news through HORIZONS, Packets and Slide library by sending your church recom mendations as soon as possible. Thanks. Send what you have now, and the others later. Recommendations by Christian Leaders: (List names and addresses here and enclose a copy of

thanks be to God we didnthave any difficulties at the bor der or mechanical troubles either, even though we were exhausted we feel that this is the place where the Lord
will use us best,

Saturday, Nov.1st, we went to a nearby village, by the name of San Agustin, about 50 miles from here, our boys really enjoyed the trip, they were so happy they didnt even notice the dust , and there was plenty of it, this particular area has not had any rain for a year,San Agustin has a small c}iurch building and a group of faithful Christians, So we made our "he adquarters"there for the weehend. Sunday mo rning we had a marriage ceremony, Benito Silis performed the Ceremony,! preached & Bill McCarty presided,In the af ternoon we went to ElRefugio*whe\*e I preached and then to El Salitre where Benito spoke, by then it was 6 P,M,and we just made it back to San Agustin on time for the evening ser vice,Ip reached there again. By this time we felt we had put in a'lEullday", We got back to San Luis Potosi at 1 A, M, mo n day
At this time we are still living with my parents. We hope to be in our "own house" by the next 11 -n e you h e a r^ f rom_ u.s Bro. Ted Murray offered us 2 small rooms that he is not us ing,Theo will be teaching a class at the "Casa Hoj,ar" for the children who do not go to school. _

Gretings in the name of our Saviour Jesus Christ, With great joy in our hearts we write this news-letter, to inform our breathren of some
of our activities and share the blessing of being a laborer for Crist.

We have moved to **our house** (two rooms that belong to the orphanage) eventhough
we have no bathroon or water, we are still very proud of our house. We have partly furni

shed it. We get the water from a neighbor's house. Last Thanksgiving-day we gathered at a place where a church house is being built unter Benito Solis* direction Bro Antonio Medina brought the message. Aftewards we had a fellowship dinner at the same place. No, it was not a turkey dinner, here in Mexico Thanksgiving-day is not known as a national holiday.

I have continued to visit and preach in three small places near San Luis PotosJ, in two

of these places we meet in homes- The third one, San Agnstin, has a church building.
Moises Saucedo and I have been doing house to house evangelism in the city. He holds
services at his house where I have preached.

I would like to remind you of the great need of Christian literature in spanishi We can use Bibles, New Testaments as well as visual aids. I would like to place a Bible or New Testament in every house that we visit. These items can be sent direct to us. l)^nks to the groups and individuals that have helped vis spiritually and financially.
Here we list the contributions that we have received since we left the States Oct. 29, 1969.
