Romans 10:1 . !hat is why "esus told us to #o into all the world and preach the #ospel to every creature. $e have a divine mandate to win souls. !he only thin# we can ta%e to heaven from this world is the souls we have brou#ht into the %in#dom of God. &t is every 'hristian(s callin# to #o "into the hi#hways and hed#es and compel them to come in." )ut now* more than ever* it seems* it is difficult to find a willin# audience who will hear the #ospel. +or that tas%* we need wisdom from God. "He that winneth souls is wise*" ,roverbs 11:-0. &t ta%es wisdom to earn and %eep someone(s attention. &t is one thin# to desire to minister to those who do not %now the #ospel* but .uite another thin# to become truly successful at soul/winnin#. Not many people are soul/winners. !hat is why & submit this to you today* to help motivate and teach you to lead people to eternal salvation. +ortunately* there are many thin#s you can do to help save someone(s soul. 0f course* you must first have your own relationship with God* built upon the %nowled#e of God(s $ord* and have a mature understandin# of the ways of His 1pirit and His will. )ut in addition to that* it is important to prepare yourself to have the heart and mind of a soul/winner. Here are some su##estions to help you prepare to be a better soul/winner* from 2 to 3. !a%e a loo%.

Act li%e you really care. &t is fri#htenin# to thin% how few people really care whether a soul perishes
forever in Hell. Nobody deserves Hell* not even your worst enemy. Hell is an awful place. Go ahead and care about people(s eternal destiny. 2s% God to #ive you a soul/winner(s heart. "esus cared enou#h to #o out of His way throu#h 1amaria to show the way of salvation to someone who was not even a "ew.

B e %ind. 4ost fol%s who #o to wor% or to school #et their share of put/downs and cursin#s. )e different.
1how some respect. "esus startled a lot of people by treatin# ta5/collectors and sinners li%e they were real people. )e %ind* tender/hearted* for#ivin#. !heir positive response may shoc% you.

C herish an opportunity to have a meanin#ful conversation with someone you hardly %now. &t mi#ht turn
into a life/chan#in# e5perience for both of you. 2ny time two or three people be#in to tal% about "esus* He comes into their midst* and when "esus is there* anythin# can happen. 4a%e it happen.

D are to #et involved in someone(s search for God. &f you hear them e5press a desire that only God can
meet* spea% up. 6ou really do have what they need. "esus saw 3acchaeus in a sycamore tree and reco#ni7ed that he was a true see%er. He too% time to #o home with him and befriend him. &t wor%ed. 3acchaeus became a real believer.

E n8oy conversations that are spiritually oriented. 9ven if the other person is not well/versed in the )ible*
your positive input could cause their appetite to increase. "esus tal%ed with two men by the wayside* and they declared afterward* ":id not our heart burn within us* while He tal%ed with us by the way* and while He opened to us the scriptures?" 6our conversation may cause someone(s heart to burn within them.

F ollow up on meanin#ful encounters. 2fter someone has opened their heart to you* they may be hopin#

G ive a le#itimate opportunity a chance. :on(t hesitate for fear you won(t say the ri#ht thin#. 2

I nvesti#ate a situation that seems opportune. 1ometimes* people live in hopeless abandon because they

L isten. &t is surprisin# how many people 8ust need someone to listen to them verbali7e their need. )e the

N ever say never. "ust because someone is a hard/head* does not mean that they will never come around.

S tand up for what is ri#ht. $hat the whole world needs today is a 'hristian with a bac%bone. 4any of
