New, computerized GED starts in January 2014

The paper-and-pencil version of the GED test, which has been used at CVAS and all other test centers since 2002, is scheduled to expire at the end of Dec. 2013. Through December, scores from individual test sections can be combined with previous passing scores--so long as the original and all subsequent test administrations took place from 2002 on. Starting in Jan. 2014, there will be a new version of the GED test nationwide, and a GED score will not be able to be combined with scores achieved prior to 2014. The new GED will be available only as a computer-based test. Test takers will register online but will take the test on campus (not online), in one of our computer labs.
For information on registering for the computerized GED, test dates/times, requirements, and other details, go to www.ConejoAdultSchool.org; at the bottom, please click on GED.
