    This is a cheatsheet for travelers to Japan who haven't learned any (or much) Japanese. The goal is to help the user of the cheatsheet to get by as simply as possible without knowing any of the language. It gives the option to point at things so native Japanese speakers can read it, gives you the pronunciation of things so you can say it yourself, and only requires you to look up vocabulary words in a dictionary or on your phone to fill in the blanks. This cheatsheet includes: - A fill in the blank section so you can say a few important things in thousands of combinations. - Pronunciation guide - All vocab / fill-in-the-blank sections in Japanese so you can show it to someone if you can't say it. - Necessary vocabulary section

    “ah” Japanese consists of
    consonant + vowel. Use the
    like in “car”
    sound of the consonant and
    すみません sumimasen
    add it to the pronunciation of
    the vowels listed below. excuse me / Iʼm sorry
