Harried business executive may play an occasional squash game or round of golf into their overscheduled lives. Office clerks may sometimes trade a quick bite for a gym class during lunch hours. But if they want to get more out of their exercise routine than a competitive attitude or a leaner look, they are going to have to step up the pace. (1) A. Harvard study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association seems to sow confusion on Americas treadmills and couches. (2) Even couch potatoes could cut their death risk nearly in half if they started walking 3.2 kilometres in 28 to 30 minutes every other day. (3) When health advice starts to confuse rather than illuminate, a little common sense seems the best course of action. (4) So that best exercise that you can do probably turns out to be something that you enjoy whether its an aerobics workout or just a brief walk.
