(30 puncte) Varianta 084

My husband Micah Helser is a MEDEVAC pilot for the US Army, deployed to Iraq. (1) At a moments notice, he and his crew fly to a distress call, remove the injured, and then fly to a medical facility. And most soldiers spend their free time playing video games, watching movies or reading. (2) Micah grew up camping, climbing, mountain biking, and skiing in beautiful Oregon. (3) Along with another soldier, Micah built a climbing wall in the middle of Iraq desert, with limited supplies and outrageous temperatures. The building materials were salvaged from other projects across the base. After months of hard work and planning the wall was ready. There are few joys during war. This simple wall created a source of refreshment, the memory of tall rock faces, cool mountain air a reminder that war cannot take whats inside a man. (4) Most climb barefoot, laughing and struggling. As for my husband, youll most likely find him, during his time off, wearing his flight suit half-unzipped and tied around his waist. If you are near such a place, where you are able to experience miracles, please take a moment to breathe deeply and observe the beauty around you. 1. Four sentences have been removed from the text.
