SUBIECTUL I
Read the text below and complete the following tasks.

Trust is a little like blindness. In some cases you literally cannot see, as when riding a horse in the dark. In others, you figuratively cannot see because you lack knowledge or understanding. (1)To triumph, you have to trust. You cannot just trust, you have to trust in something, and that something must be worthy. Trustworthy. (2) Just as God built navigational instincts into horses, he built a navigational tool into the earth the magnetic pole. When a compass needle points towards that pole, trust it. Trust yourself, too. Some years ago, a friend and I were hunting in the wilderness. Suddenly I began to fret. Did I bring enough clothes? What if we got hurt? ... (3) I finally thought: Relax! (4) And after that the trip went smoothly. Just as God endowed horses and compasses with navigational tools. He endowed you with a tool to navigate life. Its called reason. Common sense. When people succumb to fear, intimidation or other paralyzing emotions, they sell themselves short. You have something powerful: brainpower. When youre lost in the dark, you can pull out your flashlight, map, compass, and GPS. Then, applying reason, you can navigate infallibly to any destination. Sure, trusting yourself in unknown realms can be terrifying but just like the horse, you will find your way. 1. Four sentences have been removed from the text.
