San Diego Acupuncture Therapist M.

Andrew Pierson
Launches New Website.
I spent my childhood traveling throughout the world with my family, as my father was a member
of the Air Force and the United States Embassy both. I am a respected veteran who spent 6 years
in the United States Navy as an Electronic Engineer aboard a Rapid Strike Nuclear Submarine.
The majority of my service was devoted to patrolling the seas beneath the Arctic Circle and being
involved in Desert Storm.

Today I am a San Diego acupuncture therapist. My license and certification was obtained in
California. I graduated Magna Cum Laude out of the Pacific College of
Oriental Medicine in the year 2008, having obtained a Masters of Science
degree in Conventional Oriental Medicine.

Practicing Neurotherapy in San Diego since 1996, I am, in addition, a

neurotherapist that is board certified, and currently a specialist in Family
Medicine as a Doctoral Fellow at the Pacific college of Oriental Medicine
that encompasses Orthopedics, Women’s Health, Mental Health, Preven-
tive Medicine, Neurology, and Pediatrics. For five years I worked in a
large neuropsychological practice in which I dealt with hundreds of adults
and children who had many different neurophysiological disorders. Sei-
zure Disorders, Autism, Attention Disorders, and quite a few conditions
that are resistant to medication were my specialties. San Diego acupuncture therapist

Furthermore, I am working on my capstone in internal medicine to
examine and scrutinize the advantages of internal preventive medicine as it relates with cardio-
vascular and circulatory systems. This should have a vast influence on vascular problems varying
from cardiovascular disease to vascular dementia.

In my San Diego Alternative Medicine practice, I integrate a variety of therapies, including

Traditional Chinese Medicine, Western Medicine, and other holistic therapies, in order to find
the treatment or combination of treatments that works best for each patient. My objective is to
design a successful, preventive centered quality alternative for health care by helping to combine
Eastern, Western, and Holistic Medicine.

Geriatrics and internal medicine, female disorders, pediatric and adult general practice, musculo-
skeletal disorders, and mental/neuropsychological issues are my specialty interests.

Currently I am in a private integrative practice in San Diego, CA, called Wind Gate Acupunc-
ture and Integrative Medicine. Incorporating Acupuncture, Neurofeedback, Internal Medicine,
Diet, Sound Treatment, Medical Hypnotherapy, and Chinese Medicine into a total package of
healing.

I belong to the California State Oriental Medical Association (CSOMA).
