Trainers

Connie Maples,  M.S.:   Ms. Maples has more than 12 years of experience in direct service
provision and administration in the public school setting. She has 7 years of experience in
programming and data management, including 3 years of experience in managing the
implementation of a Federal longitudinal and descriptive study. Her experience also includes
database development and report writing. Ms. Maples is currently a Research Associate with
Macro, International in Atlanta

Kathryn LeLaurin, Ph.D.:  Dr. LeLaurin has more than 30 years experience in program 
design,   development   and   evaluation   of   programs   serving   children   and   families.     Her 
primary   focus   is   on  intervention  efficacy  and   the   use   of   data   for   continuous   quality 
improvement.     She   currently   manages   the   longitudinal   and   descriptive   studies   of 
children’s mental health at LA YES.

Ronald Mancoske, DSW:  Dr. Mancoske is a Professor of Social Work at the Southern 
University of New Orleans and has over twenty years experience in training and program 
evaluation in children’s mental health.  He currently serves as evaluation consultant to the 
LA YES program and is actively involved in program planning and administration. 

TRAINING OBJECTIVES

At the end of the program, the participant should be able to:

 Understand repeated measures evaluation designs
 Understand evaluation management methods in repeated measures designs 
 Understand baseline and outcomes results
 Understand services and cost results
 Understand evaluation and sustainability
 Understand evaluation improvement methods and lessons learned
