ARGUMENTATIVE WRITING

Topic : The Final Test


Introduction : Various polemic about The Final Test ( UN ) Itself still looked do interest for this democracy. Although, UN itself still often raises the pros and cons. But, should remain on the proper part, however all of student especially Senior High School are potential agent of change who will act to develop this country to be better. Thesis : However, UN is the only one term to assess students competency nationally on the level of Primary and Secondary education.

Evidence : UN as Unifying exam in Indonesia. Then, must be held. Evidence : UN as a benchmark test result of learners, although not the sold determinant of graduation. Evidence : UN still raises pros and cons.

Opposing Argument : It's too much input and criticism, addressed to the UN itself. some of their assumptions are: that the un will result in students' fear, and justifies a variety of ways, students' graduation targets are not comparable with the ministry of education, too much pressure on students while students are very limited ability etc..

Refutation : However, UN is one of the government testing for competent student in the Primary and Secondary levels. It should be held to maintain the quality of education in Indonesia. Conclusion : UN is name of assessment students in the primary and secondary education that still many pros and cons. UN is also the only one term to assess students competency nationally on the level of Primary and Secondary education that must be held and it has most advantages.

Education is one important sector in development of each country.. Education is a conscious and planned effort to develop all its potential learners through the learning process. The goal of Education are to develop the potential of children to have the spiritual power of religion, self-control, personality, have the intelligence, morals, and have the necessary skills as members of society and citizens. To achieve this noble goal of education drafted a curriculum that is a set of plans and arrangements regarding the objectives, content, and materials and methods of learning. The curriculum is used as guidance in the implementation of learning activities to achieve educational goals that have been determined. To see the level of educational achievement, required an evaluation form. Thus, evaluation of education is one of the main components that cannot be separated from education plan. However, it should be noted that not all forms of evaluation can be used to measure the achievement of educational goals that have been determined. Therefore, its needed a system which can measure the learning outcome itself. lately, we often hear and see the many issues concerning the UN "without ceasing. Although, The government had explained about it clearly, the UN still be implemented, some groups still reject the government's policy that was already clearly evident that the UN had to be and should be held in Indonesia. But, any of them trying to convey a variety of reasons to reject the UN, when it is already clear is contrary to the purpose of education itself, which gave birth to a generation that has a good character and reliability. In science education learners capability encompasses three aspects, namely: knowledge (juridical), skills (psychomotor, and attitude (affective) in this case the government tries to create a system of examination to test it, although not all, because the government also gives authority to the school for taking part in the determination of graduation for students. However, UN is one tool of evaluation issued by the Government used

as a measurement of learning achievement or completion of an educational unit in primary and secondary education. moreover, the government also has launched the sustainability of the UN that is as EXAM unifier and the only national exam in Indonesia. with the aim of which is so clear that as a benchmark system success particularly in terms of student learning or cognitive science. The government also sure that with the un that the learners will be more enthusiasm in learning and to boost their achievement. despite diligent students will be less enthusiastic in learning when he did not know what kind of achievement that should he get. then, the UN is as focused and unifying exam especially this country. In order to improve the quality of education itself is needed a long process. therefore needed also a tool benchmarks that had been truly tested in which the existence of the system will be able to kindle the spirit of the learners. UN will also be able to make the teacher or teachers and students will also think of long days to reach the target. Therefore, many ways that will be done to equip learners this is where the UN comes as a benchmark of their cognitive skill. Therefore, the school also have to prepare their students, because the government also gives authority to them for taking part in the determination of students' graduation. In other hand that which has been mentioned above, the UN held will also support the development of education, creating a generation who are really competent, students also will not always depend on the teachers, while teachers would be more viable to educate learners more seriously and will also support creating a positive competition in education. nevertheless, the UN still reap sharp criticism from some groups. This triggered the possibility of the existence of a group of the communities that reject government policies that raise the cost of the UN itself. Because, before it never happened rejection as it is now. Another possibility is triggered by the number of students who fail in following the UN. but after the research, it did not materialize. even students who do not pass is a small part. Therefore the presence of UN

cannot be blamed, because the lack of graduate students that might be due to a lack of preparation to face the UN itself. However, the role of schools is necessary to encourage the learners to always enterprising and more serious in learning. so that the government's objectives will be realized in accordance with the expectations of us. and somehow the UN is one of the government testing for competence students especially in primary and secondary level. In order to maintain the quality of our education in Indonesia. As we know, that UN has been held since before Indonesia gained independence. The difference is only that students pass the assessment system, while the goal is the same, namely as a benchmark for the success of students during his study, especially in cognitive skills. While, UN itself has carried out continuously until now is a system that is considered at most had a positive excess. Therefore, UN should indeed be held.
