Prerequisites z Dependency on Hardware None z Dependency on Other Features None z License The license is activated. z Other Prerequisites The network involves the 2G network and the 3G network. The 2G cell and 3G cell are neighboring cells. The UE supports the 2G and 3G frequency bands at the same time. Context In areas where the 2G and 3G networks overlap, a UE will camp on the 2G cell after its call in the 2G cell ends. After this feature is enabled, the UE returns to and camps on the 3Gcell when the call is released. In this way, the cellreselection time is reduced. Procedure z Activation Procedure1 . Ensure that the MS is in the 3G cell.
