Procedure: No. 1. 2. Steps Prepare the first 4m X 2m plywood. Using the final designs sketch, draw the plane outline on the wood using a marker. You could also use a pencil first. Keep in mind of the scale used in the sketch. (Also remember to draw on one side of the wood since the other side will be used for the second plane). Measure the drawing on the wood using measurement tape to make sure it is equivalent with the one in the design. Prepare the saw, make sure you are wearing a mask and using gloves for safety purposes. Cut the shape of the plane from the prepared plywood using a -Plywood saw. Draw the details of the plane that has just been cut. You might -Plywood want to use a pencil first. 7. 8. 9. 10. Creating

Prepare the white, blue, black, and yellow paint. Paint the plane according to the colors and design of the design sketch. Leave the painted plane to dry While the plan dies, you should start creating the second plane using the remaining plywood. Therefore repeat steps 19. Next is to create the map. Prepare the second 4m X 2m plywood. Using the final design sketch, draw the world map (continents of the world only) on the plywood using a marker. You might want to use a pencil first. Using a pencil, divide the plywood into nine equal pieces and draw puzzle pieces from it. Look at the final design sketch and the prototype images to have a clearer image. Prepare the saw, make sure you are wearing a mask and using gloves for safety purposes. Cut out the drawn puzzle pieces of the world map using the saw. Prepare the blue, white, black, red, green, and yellow paint. Paint each continent and the seas/oceans according to the design sketch. Leave the puzzle pieces to dry Toy is finished, evaluate with the design specifications (located below) and make adjustments if necessary. Toy is completely finalized and ready for the client. Present the toy towards the kindergarten students. Have three children participate. ( You need three kids)

Explain the rules of the game and how to play with the toy towards the three children. Have them test it out with the toys to let them understand clearer. Play the game with the three children for fifteen minutes. As they are playing, make sure to observe if they are smiling and laughing because that will prove that they are enjoying the toy. Fill in the checklist (located below) after the observation. After fifteen minutes gather three other children and repeat steps 22 and 23. If there is still time, gather another three children and play the game with them, repeat step 24. (Only if there is time, therefore OPTIONAL) Prepare the interview for the kindergarten kids and ask the teachers to fill it out.

Should I modify my plan? Why?

Yes I should modify the plan, after discussing and evaluating the plan in class, there are some modifications that had to be made to achieve a perfect score. The first modification is to change the date of finalizing the toy from 9th December into 6th December. This was a decision that was made by Ibu Lisa and Ibu Hana. Therefore I had to revise the procedure and the gantt chart, I had to adjust the new dates with the tasks. The second modification to this plan was with the observation checklist, previously I only had two specifications in that checklist. It only consisted of smile and laugh, I then added a couple more to make the checklist more detailed. The last modification I made about the interview questions for the teachers. Previously I only had 4 questions to ask the teachers, however I was told that the questions should reflect the design specifications. Therefore I added some more to have the interview more detailed. These are the modifications and I made them to make my planning more detailed.

Criterion C: plan
Students plan the product/solution: devise, with guidance, a series of logical steps to create the product/solution construct a plan to create the product/solution that makes effective use of resources and time analyse the plan and explain the need for any modifications to the design.

Achievement Level 1-2

Descriptor The student produces a plan that contains some details of the steps and/or the resources required.

Task Specific Clarifications Gantt Chart for creating and testing the product (Observation, checklist, interview the preschooler teachers) Description of steps, resources and time

3-4

The student produces a plan that contains a number of logical steps that include resources and time. The student makes some attempt to analyze the plan.

5-6

The student produces a plan that contains a number of detailed, logical steps that describe the use of resources and time. The student critically analyzes the plan and explains any modifications to the design.

Gantt Chart for creating and testing the product (Observation, checklist, interview the preschooler teachers) Description of steps, resources, time and appropriate images. The plan is analyzed deeply and Modifications are explained thoroughly The plan is checked at least by 5 people

Questions: 1. Is the plan in logical order? Why? Yes the plan is in logical order because I organized the steps from creation to testing. That is the logical order, other than that I made sure that the dates are all in order. There arent any tasks that goes to a date before, for example once I am at the testing part, I dont include steps regarding the creating part. That is just illogical.

2. Did I plan it for the given amount of time (3 weeks)? Is it possible to be done? What can I do to make sure I follow the plan? Yes the plan is for a time of three weeks, it has been perfectly designed for three weeks. Yes it should be possible to accomplish if the plan is followed well. If the steps are done carefully and effectively, the plan can be completed in time. What could be done would be to stay focused and not get distracted, that would let us follow the plan more effectively. 3. Did I mention any materials/tools that I need? Will it be provided by school or myself? Is there any materials/tools which I am not clear how to use it? Yes I have mentioned the materials and tools that will be needed. The tools I need are all available from school therefore the school will provide it for me. I have already consulted this with the teacher. As for the materials such as plywood and paint, I will have to purchase those outside of school. No I have understood the materials and tools that I will be using 4. Have I mentioned any detailed things (measurement, amount of time or things, steps, images)

Yes I have mentioned the detailed things such as measurements, amount of time, date, the steps and the images. They can all be found throughout my planning.
