Introduction: One of the critical aspects that confronts you when you are planning your career, is the quality of your communication with a prospective employer. You need to communicate a great deal of preciseness, ensuring that you make the interaction with the prospective employer a memorable one. You should be able to communicate your qualifications and capabilities effectively when you are applying for a job or a higher position in your company. Objectives: To learn the art of persuasive communication. To contribute effectively in Group-discussions. To face job-interviews successfully.

Contents: Persuasive Communication: Making Persuasive Presentations. Group Discussions: Techniques and Peparation of Group Discussion. Interview Skills: Planning and preparing for interviews, Ethics and etiquette of interviews. Communicating during feedback: Concept of feedback, Types of feedback & Counseling Communication at Workplace: Enhancing Inter-personal Communication skills. Pedagogy: Lecture, Group Discussions, Cases, Simulations, Role-plays and Presentations.

Learning Outcomes: On completion of this module the student should be able to: Develop persuasive presentation skills. Give and receive feedback constructively. Participate in GD and Interview process confidently.
