Session met for its regular monthly meeting on November 11. Good attendance meant good discussions. The Committee leading the process for the election of new Elders will host an information meeting November 2 with nominees and all present Elders invited to participate. !fter a good discussion Session decided to support the proposal of in future holding General !ssembly every two years. There are many advantages financially" for the wor# load of Church employees in the Toronto office and even environmentally with this new plan. $t was reported that a team of five%&ev. Gedc#e" 'endell and Shannon !rcher and (eather and Sarah (islop will share leadership of the )outh Group. Than# you to these people for ta#ing on this very important ministry. !nother topic of discussion was the proposal from our *resbytery regarding &egional Cooperative +inistries. ! brief description of this would be that it is a federation of three or more congregations somewhat in pro,imity to one another that are served by a ministry team. Session decided this would not be considered at -no, although we certainly are open to ways in which we could assist the process for others. Christmas Eve services were planned for the children at . p.m. and for the community at /01 . 'e will be again as#ing for donations of coo#ies and other treats so please plan to save a few for us to serve at the reception following the second service.
