Course Requirements: At the end of the course every student will be able to integrate the knowledge, skills, values and attitude learned in all the courses in demonstrating skills required of a first level position in nursing, that in the long run they will become effective, efficient and caring nurses in rendering service to the individual, family and community. As FCPCians, who are discipline and intelligent they will be able to serve according to the needs of their clientele. 1. Given a group of patients in hospital setting, under supervision (twenty four hour plan of care for 4 patients as primary nurse; and 8 hours plan for 6-8 patients in case method nursing) 2. Given actual work situations with sufficient opportunities to demonstrate leadership, management skills and effective interaction with others are provided 3. Implements strategies/approaches in the solution of health and/or administrative problems 4. Initiates at least one educational program related to health promotion and maintenance 5. Conducts case presentation, seminar on trends and issues in patient care and management 6. Conducts a group research activities related to nursing care and health
