It's already the world's largest student energy conference, but we have plans to make it even bigger. In addition to panels on renewables, energy efficiency, oil & gas, and nuclear energy, we will be attempting a world-record breaking International University Debate via Google Hangout. We nearly made it last year, so we have high hopes this time round! LSEES is also proud to announce we will be holding a global student essay competition. The topics will be announce shortly and submissions will open in January 2014. The winners will be declared at the Energy Conference and will be included in the publication of the 2014 LSE Energy Society Journal.
