Text2Teach Globes CSR provides students access to adequate teaching and learning material. iAccess is with partnership with the Pearson Foundation, Nokia, Ayala Foundation, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and International Youth Foundation. Globe provides the internet access using Nokia phones to download educational materials, and shown on television screen. Teachers can download more than 300 educational videos on grades V & VI Math, Science, English and Values Education using their Nokia phone with Globe Telecom

Globe provides Php 4,500 load to download the videos, and one year Php150 monthly load for technical support. 2 Internet-in-Schools Program To support the progress for innovative education, Globe Telecom gives computers with internet access to public schools. One of their beneficiaries is Logon Elementary School in Cebu. The public school is in need of computer upgrade. With the help of Globe, teachers and students are able to hone their computer skills while learning their lectures.

The Global Filipino Teachers Program The Global Filipino Teachers Program provides classroom training on ICT integration using Problem Based Learning (PBL) Approaches. The program is available to 12 regions in the country. Selected teacher-applicant will undergo the 5-day training of knowledge and skill to integrate technology in the learning environment. Teachers who underwent the program can acquire a certificate of proficiency, and become coaches to their co-teachers. 3 By equipping teachers with proficient skills, they can easily impart their knowledge to their students.

Global Filipino School The Global Filipino School is a competency-building initiative of Globe Telecom that seeks to transform public high schools into ICT centers of excellence and hopes to provide access to quality education. 4 Aside from the benefit of having an available access to computer and Internet access, the teachers are able to introduce new teaching ways to students, which can make them more engaged in the lessons. Hence, this results to increased motivation and improved performances at national assessments. Conclusion Computer and technology has been an integral part of education. These innovations entail cost, which most public schools cannot afford. Helping the public schools become as competitive as private schools that have their computer laboratory is crucial.
