Ive aIways been interested in science but I didnt particularly enjoy working in a laboratory. I had always been more interested in the business side of science and I knew that this course would open many potential career opportunities. I was particularly interested in either commercialisation, venture capital, patent attorney or science communications, and the commercialisation project and other elements of the course were useful to gain these skills. My masters degree enabled me to get a job in my current field and gave me the knowledge and resources to be successful in my role.
