He likes them, because they talk on literature. They were also nice to him and they talked about %omeo and -uliet Holden i!es them ', .ollars for charity, but perhaps only because he feels uilty for payin ', .ollars to Sunny, which was a prostitute. Holden respects his teacher (and his intelli ence). He always talks about 2Mr. 1ntollini4 as Mr 1ntollini, 9hile he describes Mr. Spencer as 2:ld Spencer4 9hy did we di!ide the roups like this; 5ecause in such an di!ision, you can clearly see, that almost e!eryone says to him that he should row up, but each character does it on its way. Holden has ot ood relations with hes teachers, and almost all adults( e/cept Maurice, Sunny and The *irls in the $a!ender %oom) but not to his schoolmates. He says to Mr. 1ntollini that he hates people like Stradlater or 1ckley 2only for a little while4 (p +,') Holden has !ery ood relations with all the family members, but the most important person for him is "hoebe, because she hints him from lea!in home
