*** NOTICE OF POSSIBLE HEALTH INSURANCE TERMINATION ***

Dear Valued Health Insurance Customer, Due to dramatic changes to the health insurance system, your health care policy may be terminated. Throughout 2009 and before implementation of the Affordable Care Act (herein known as Obamacare), President Obama said repeatedly, If you like your health insurance plan, you can keep it. Tens of thousands of Virginians and millions nationwide are now learning that is simply not true. CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield (just one of many providers) announced that more than 76,000 customers in Virginia, Maryland, and DC will lose their current coverage due to implementation of Obamacare. Thats more than 40% of all customers covered by CareFirst alone in those states.1 According to the National Center for Public Policy Research, more than 1.5 million Americans have lost their health insurance due to Obamacare.2 NBC reported the Obama White House knew millions of Americans would lose their health insurance coverage under Obamacare.3 According to one study4, the one-month change in premiums in Virginia may look like this: Male Age 27 Male Age 40 Female Age 27 Female Age 40 Before: $109 Before: $161 Before: $151 Before: $207 After: $182 After: $222 After: $182 After: $222 Increase of 67% Increase of 38% Increase of 21% Increase of 7% November 2, 2013

Gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe has vocally supported President Obamas healthcare law and is refusing to listen to growing bipartisan support in Congress for delaying the individual mandate, continuing to jeopardize the health insurance plans of many Virginians. Mr. McAuliffe has stated on multiple occasions that he would not sign any Virginia budget that does not include Medicaid expansion. McAuliffes threat would result in a statewide government shutdown, much like the Federal Government shutdown that occurred in late 2013. We apologize for this inconvenience. Voting for Terry McAuliffe, who has wholeheartedly endorsed President Obamas failed health insurance scheme, will only exacerbate problems for Virginians in the health insurance market. We ask you to seriously consider your vote on Tuesday, November 5, and hope you will support Ken Cuccinelli and the Republican ticket. Washington-style politics have no place in Virginia. Thank you. Note: This is not an actual health insurance termination notice, but it is similar to the kind of notice thousands of Virginians have received as a direct result of Obamacare.
