The SITOP DC UPS module is the optimal expansion to all SITOP 24 VDC power supplies, if you cannot afford long power failures. Load currents of up to 40 A can be maintained via externally connected lead-acid storage batteries from 1.2 to 12 Ah. The transition from the AC power line to the buffer operation is absolutely uninterrupted. With a width of 50 and 102 mm the UPS modules 6/15/40 A are small but full of functions. Extensive protection and monitoring functions are integrated as standard in the DC UPS module to protect your processes, for example monitoring the availability, battery cable, aging status and charge status. Optional PC interfaces, the support for automatic restarting and a free of charge software tool provide optimal interaction with industrial PCs. The new miniature power supply units offer great performance in the smallest space. The high efficiency over the complete load range and the low power loss during idle time guarantee efficient operation. The wide input voltage range now also allows the connection of DC voltage, the switch-on response has been optimized for capacitive loads, and the operating temperature range has been extended to +70C. The reliable power supplies with logic module design can now be integrated extremely flexibly in a number of applications for example, in distribution boards or with a LOGO! PLC. The innovative SITOP DC UPS with Capacitor backup is based on completely maintenance-free capacitors with a long service life. In 8 years, even at 50C, they still have more than 80% of their capacity. This means that the energy storage unit does not have to be replaced. Since the capacitors do not emit any gas, the control cabinet does not have to be ventilated. A further advantage is the significantly shorter charge times required for the double-layer capacitors which ensure a fast buffer readiness after a power failure.
