Financial Assistance Fellowships, scholarships, teaching assistantships, and research assistantships are available to a limited number of qualified applicants. Applications for most fellowships, scholarships and traineeships must be submitted to the Office of Vice Rector for Student Affairs. Applications for teaching assistantships should be submitted to the chairperson of the research group. Inquires regarding research assistantships should be made directly to the faculty in the area of your interest. Undergraduate Program Geodesy and Geomatic Engineering prepare graduate to discharge duty as competent geo-information engineer capable to deal with processes and changes of earth's environment with special reference to quality of human living. Subjects involving modern techniques in survey and mapping by means of direct measurement, remote sensing and Geographic Information System are offered providing both sides of desktop and adventurism aspects of activities. The Program requires at least 144 credits that should be finished within 8 semesters. Thirty eight out of the 144 credits are taken in the first year as compulsory courses in the Common Preparatory Level (Tahap Persiapan Bersama TPB). At least 24 credits must be taken in the forth year as elective courses. Upon completion of the degree, a submission of a final project in a form of standard scientific report at a departmental examination is required.
