Objectives of this activity: 1. To relate the activity with the purpose of the Flag Stories (to gain little bit of knowledge of the object in order to get a full picture of the object ) 2. To get the participants to get a sense of doing research(using primary sources and not the internet) and to think holistically about the makings of flags 3. To get the participants to think systematically (on how to collect data, analyze and make conclusion)

Tips for Facilitators to guide students: 1. How to interpret or analyze the flags? a. Why use certain symbols? b. Why certain colours? c. Relate the purpose of flags 2. How to relate the activity with the purpose of this program? a. Point out i. The flag that they collect is the final picture of a puzzle (say that we need to have an idea of the puzzle then only we know how the pieces looks like then we know where to place them) ii. The data that they collect is the pieces of puzzle iii. The analysis of the data is the understanding that they acquire of that flag. Hence it no longer a decoration only, but it has a meaning. 3. Conclude by saying that this small activity is an example of the big project of Flag Stories that this program is going to be. The collection of activities every week will make up a big puzzle in the end which portrays our understanding of our identity, community and our worldview
