Message from Pastor Reid

Celebrating the Faithfulness of our God
Following our worship service this past Sunday, October 27th, I went to visit with a fellow-pastor. His wife is facing many challenges unless the Lord touches her with healing she will soon be in the presence of Jesus. The hospital room where we met was filled with much love, a quiet peace, and the unmistakable presence of our God. We talked exchanged scriptures and then came the time to pray. I asked if I could offer a prayer the pastor responded yes, but then he said he would like to pray for me. He asked if I had something to be prayed for and lifted up. I was at a loss for words. But the Spirit then moved me to tears as I thought of Gods faithfulness over the recent years. His mercies have been new every morning His presence has guided and upheld He has given me new hope and an opportunity to live the best days of my life! I said to my fellow pastor lets thank God for His faithfulness. We prayed, wept, and departed knowing God had moved in our midst! At the writing of this article his wife was still with us- her situation is in the hands of the Lord. I leave you with the second verse of the song, Great is Thy Faithfulness. Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth; Thy own dear presence to cheer and to guide; Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow; blessings all mine with 10,000 beside. Great is Thy faithfulness, great is Thy faithfulness; morning by morning new mercies I see; All I have needed Thy hand has provided; great is Thy faithfulness, Lord unto me.
