1. I re-coded the variables with a baseline of 0 being first value of the respective value sets. (see below)
2. Since Excel can only handle 16 independent variables, I ran this in SPSS as a Binary Logistic Regression.
This technique is used to Predict the presence or absence of a characteristic or outcome based on values of a set of predictor variables. This
procedure is similar to linear regression but is suited to models in which the dependent variable is dichotomous.

The older the head of household is, the less likely you are to on family vacation
The person who scores his attitude of travel as "8" is actaully
less likely to go on a vacation than a person who scores it as
a "1". (adds a coefficient of 0.424 to the constant of 2.502.
NOTE: if the sum goes to 2, he will not go on vacation, so smaller
is 'better').
A person who rates the importance of travel as high, is more likely
to be to go on vacation (all coefficients are negative).

The larger the family size is, the more likely you are to go on a
family vacation (note: coefficient is sinking, as family size increases)

The more you spend the more likely you are to visit the resort. Note:
a "3" has a coefficient of -0.355 relative to one who scored it a "1".

Explanation:
Traditional
The traditional way is to recode the variables in to 0-n (where the first value is =0).
This should the loading of each variable relative to the baseline (0)
The coefficients shows the loading of each variable relative to the (0) value
i.e. the value of 0.02 means that a family size of x is 0.02 more likely to go on a vacation
than a family size of 1.
Alternative way.
we can calculate the distance of each variable relative to the group centroids
then we can measure the separation of these distances as a t-value ((x-mean) / st. dev)
This measures the consistency of the assignments to each varaible's group centroid.
The higher p-value of the t-distribution, the more likely it is that the assignemnt is due to
randomness in the data set.
Based on this we find the best differentiators:
