How to fill in the formula Enter the name of each course in which you have received a grade in the form of a number but leave out courses for which you have merely received the grade "Passed" . Also leave out grades that are not numbers but letters - A, B, C etc. Instead you should enclose an official description of your university's grading system together with your diploma. Credits x grade 75 60 127.5 50 75 180 Credits can be listed either as points, hours, or whichever quantification method used to calculate the estimated time spent on coursework. If all courses are weighted the same, i.e., are each worth the same amount of credits, just enter 1 in each field under Credits You must enter the highest grade in your university's grading system, even if you have not received this grade for any of the courses you are listing. It is very important that you enter the lowest passing grade in your university's grading system, not the lowest grade you have received.

Credits can be entered as ECTS credits, in hours or any other relevant quantifying method used for calculating the approximate work load of the course. If all course are weighted equally, i.e. have the same number of credits, you only have to write a "1" for each course in the "Credits" column.
