Established in 1998, Aerotree is an engineering and
technology development firm operating in various
realms of the aviation marketplace. Our objective is to
establish a reputation for performance and excellence
through experience, commitment and resourcefulness
that propagates technical competence and
entrepreneurship resulting in sustainable profit in the
defence and aviation industry. Our expanding line of
products is a significant discriminator that allows us to
engineer complete solutions for a broad range of
high-tech applications.
Having served as a fighter pilot with the Royal
Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) and also being constantly
involved in various Defence related technologies and
acquisitions, has been highly advantageous in terms of
knowledge and exposure, that has enabled me to
position Aerotree to meet various challenges and
requirements of the industry. Currently, Aerotree has
been successfully managing several Aviation and
Defence related projects which includes Consulting,
Supply & Maintenance, Training & Special Services.
Aerotree’s constant strive to better its knowledge in
the aerospace industry has sparked a dramatic increase
in confidence with the RMAF. Aerotree have been
awarded with a 3 year blanket approval for the supply
of Aerospace Equipments and Solutions via the
issuance of a Direct Procurement Arrangement (DPA)
contract. This, we believe, is only the start of many

MAJOR (R) DATO’ HALIM BIN - Chief Operation Officer

MBA, Swansea
Dato’ Halim started his career in RMAF and rose to the rank of Major.
Throughout the service he has served in USA, India, Russia, Indonesia, Thailand,
Singapore and United Nation. Among his notable achievements whilst in RMAF
is being awarded the top gun pilot in 1991 and Excellence Service Award in
1992. Upon retiring in 1998 he had a short stint with Sapura Defense
Division. Having enough technical experience and backed with his MBA he
ventured into business. Starting from construction and civil engineering in 1999
and then venturing into aviation and defense industry in 2002 when the
construction industry was shrinking.

Since then he has diversified his business in Aerospace and Defense Training
Services, the area and industry that he knows best. Within a span of 5 years, he
managed to steer the company to be an established and reputable defense base
company in the country. Having business stability Dato’ Halim is now moving up
the value chain as investor into potential new business.

DATO’ HAJJAH NORIDA BINTI HAMZAH - Chief Executive Officer

Dato’ Norida Hamzah comes form a family of businessmen. Having been

exposed to business at a rather young age she ventured into her family business
upon leaving school. She has driven her small time family transportation business
and diversified it into a Pusat Khidmat Kontraktor Class A Construction
Company.

After being in the construction industry for 20 years, she exited the industry
early prior to explore new business opportunity.

Her strong business acumen has driven her into property and defense
sector. Together with her partner Dato’ Halim bin Othman, she is now a
reputable defense player. She can be considered on of the few brave women
that have ventured into the defense area and have made it.

The ground-based ACTiVE debriefing system allows for full mission debrief and tracking of all
participants. This debrief includes weapons engagements and kill assessment. The URITS system is fully
deployable and once at the new location can be unpacked and set up for mission support in less than one
hour. As an option, airborne pods can be configured with a Datalink Transceiver (DLT). When combined
with the optional Real-Time Monitor Station (RTMS) co-located with the ACTiVE system, it provides a
Real-Time (LIVE) monitoring capability. This option also provides for pod-to-pod communication allowing
for Real Time Kill Removal.

Communication is through a time division multiplexed data link where each pod sends its TSPI (Time,
Space, Position Information) and RTKN (Real Time Kill Notification) information in unique time slots. All
pods listen to the other pods and record the position of all pods within range. The pod records data
obtained from its own sensors and data from the host aircraft. The data from the pod includes aircraft posi-
tion, velocity, acceleration, altitude, attitude, angular rates, discrete data, GPS data, and MIL-STD-1553B
serial multiplex data bus information.

PERSONAL LOCATOR BEACON

Our Personal Locator Beacon (PLB) is a multi-function 3 frequency search and rescue
beacon operating on Cospas/Sarsat 406MHz alerting frequency with homing transmissions
on 121.5MHz and 243MHz. The beacon provides simplex speech communication on
121.5MHz and 243MHz and incorporates embedded GPS. A separate GPS antenna is
provided to ensure the GPS fix is obtained as early as possible. Activation is automatic
upon ejection, manual or by salt water immersion.
