How to order SENC CHARTS ONLINE by route.

1. Create your route in Navi-Sailor and save it. 2. Start Chart Assistant for advanced users.

3. Change format to SENC.

4. Change to Catalogue.

5. Click Add by route button.

6. Load the route you created earlier in Navi-Sailor by either clicking the arrow (drop down menu) or the browse button.

7. Set the number of how wide range of charts (Chart selection corridor) would you like to have added to your basket (in Nautical miles). Then click Add to selection.

8. Click New Licenses button in the Catalogue panel.

10. On the right side (in General Request Information field) you can now see the approximate price for the order.

NOTE: The price for the order is given for 12 months

12. The dialog box will appear. Here you can find useful information about where the files will be saved and where to send them. Create two folders on the USB stick, one called CA_inbox and the second one called CA_outbox (For full information upon on settings adjustment see How to do your settings in CA document). Make sure your files will be saved on the USB stick in outbox. Click finish.

13. Bring the USB stick to your Internet/communication computer. Send the file you have just made to the Chartservice@transas.com 14. In a short while (as soon as Transas has confirmed the order) you will receive a new license sent to you by email. 15. Save the license on the USB stick in the CA_Inbox folder. Bring the stick to the ECDIS and go to Chart Assistant program. Chart Assistant will automatically detect the .cdf file containing the new license. 16. When this is done, you will have to run the TADS BASE discs to load the new charts. 17. Run latest Update disc or request updates from the chartserver. 18. Your new charts are now in the system.
