SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Event Planning


Proficient at coordinating and executing a variety of employee events including Town Hall meetings, employee celebrations, and charity work for a diverse campus population; as well as expanded engagement programming for the nationwide organization. Event planning included hotel logistics for 1000+ attendees, catering, education, entertainment, travel and ultimately, engagement in a finely executed event. Marketing Communications

Developed, created, and delivered strategic marketing communications programs for the Service Organization. Partnered with Product Marketing Managers and Sales Executives to develop and implement comprehensive communication plans according to brand guidelines and business goals; while maintaining corporate objectives, compliancy regulations and budgetary restrictions. Utilized a wide variety of communication channels for print, web, seminars, conferences and direct mail. Developed marketing concepts for new service products and innovations. Launched a full-scale integrated, comprehensive plan for new service products.

Customer Excellence

Created and executed a multi-year, multi-phased comprehensive customer excellence initiative to enhance the customer experience and engage the diverse Service employee population as brand ambassadors. Collaborated with Global Customer Excellence VP to share this strategy with global partners. Conceived and created the position of Customer Advocate to ensure a complete cycle of listening and responding to customers. Coordinated a cross-functional service team representing all areas of business to serve to manage all identified customer issues that were escalated by the Customer Advocate(s). Coordinated appropriate resources to work collectively on behalf of executive team to ensure that all issues were remedied and closed-out in a timely fashion. Coordinated with VP of Global Customer Excellence to enhance the customer experience through internal employee engagement. Created and produced a Customer Excellence book to share the experiences and success stories of the internal brand ambassadors. Monitored and reported on customer satisfaction though a Net Promoter Score educational campaign. Served on nationwide team to create and educate employees on quality standards and practices when we became an ISO9001/2000 certified service organization.

Employee Communications

Key speech writer for executives and creator of all organizational messaging. Created and deployed a nationwide storytelling

initiative for all employees that encouraged and promoted their outstanding customer service skills. Promoted engagement in the company-sponsored annual TEDMED conference to the entire service population through coordinated streaming video, discussions and surveys. Guided the development of the company's identity program, including signage, stationery, literature, etc. Established and guided company intranet content. Public Relations

Served as ombudsman between Mayors Office and the public. Coordinated resolutions to taxpayer concerns with all involved City Departments. Senior Tax Cashier managing all tax, water and escrow payments for three Tax Collectors. Served as Chairman of a city-wide Neighborhood Watch Organization for two terms, interacting with city leaders and police agencies on behalf of all citizens.
