OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE . Project 58 . Donate Your Unneeded Vehicle

This week your donations helped a WOLC single mom with a mortgage payment and groceries, as well as helping a struggling WOLC member with his groceries. Project 58 also helped a teen living in a shelter, who is 8 months pregnant, with a bus ticket back to her mother's home. Hey, heres a thought coming into the 4th quarter of 2013. If you have a vehicle you dont need that has a clear title - like a car, truck, boat, motorcycle, or RV - why not donate it to Word of Life Church? Your donation will be sold to raise money to help fund the work of the church, and youll get a gift letter for the sale amount. Daylight Saving Time ends on Sunday, November 3rd at 2 AM. So, on Saturday night, November 2nd, before you go to bed, set your clocks back one hour - so you can be on time for church Sunday morning!

Grab a costume and come join us for a fun night of local teen music as we support a great cause! Bands include: To Speak in Whispers, Sweet Ascent, Overthrow the Pharaoh, A Hero in Us All, The Three and I, and Remade. All proceeds benefit Veronica's Voice, a Kansas City organization providing support to victims of sex trafficking. Tickets are $5 at the door and $3 for those who wear costumes.

The Missouri Heart Gallery exhibition is here in the Word of Life main foyer! The gallery displays stirring portraits of kids in foster care awaiting a home with an adoptive family, and is a compelling representation of the many Missouri children who are looking for forever families. The Heart Gallery exhibition also provides adoption information and helps prospective adoptive and foster parents begin the process.

Jason Upton and his band will be kicking off our anniversary weekend with a night of musical praise and worship. The passion and intensity in Jason's worship is undeniable. Jason is intent on taking everyone in worshipping range along with him, and you'll be stirred to praise Jesus as deeply and exuberantly. This is our regular Friday night service. Admission is free.
