Revocation of order of suspension of mining operations under Rule 13 (2) of Mineral Conservation and Development Rules 1988 in respect of Katasai Manganese mine of M/s FACOR over an area of 13.874 ha in Keonjhar district, Orissa consequent to IBM Task Force inspection dated 16.08.2010.

Ref: (i) This office letter of even number dated 27.08.2010. (ii) Your letter no BHF/C-102/830/2011 dated 25.03.2011. (iii) Your letter no BHF/DM/30/2011 dated 06.04.2011 Sir Please refer to the order of suspension of mining operations issued to you vide this office letter of even no dated 27.08.2010 in respect of your above mine and you were asked to comply the violations pointed out therein. Vide your letter No. BHF/C-102/830/2011 dated 25.03.2011, addressed to the Regional Controller of Mines, Indian Bureau of Mines, Bhubaneswar, you have made a request to revoke the suspension order, submitting therewith compliance report after submission of final copies for approval of Scheme of Mining, with due incorporating the rectifications in the relevant chapters pointed out in the Order of suspension on 27.08.2010. Shri S Chakraborty, AMG, has duly examined the document for its compliance. Subsequently the Scheme of Mining has been approved by the undersigned, vide letter no MS/ OTF.MECH/63-ORI/ BHU/ 2010-11 dated 11.04.2011 .

Based on the examination of above facts and the recommendation of the Task Force Team leader, I am reasonably satisfied with the compliance of Rule 13 (1) of MCDR 1988 and here by revoke the order of suspension with immediate effect. An immediate acknowledgement of this order is requested. Yours faithfully,
