Pupils should answer "hundred" 3) Teacher ask " How did you get it. Did you count one by one?" Pupils should answer 10 x 10 or teacher explain 4) Teacher give instruction. "Now use your pencil or pen and shade 3 part" Pupils shade 3 part in the grid card 5) Teacher ask " What is the fraction of the shaded part?". Learn that fraction of 1) Teacher says "Now use another grid card and shade 18 parts". hundredths can be Pupils shade 18 parts in the grid card present in percentage "Can you show it to me when you are finish?". "Now show to your friends. Compare. Same or not?" Pupils try to compare between them "Now let us do together" 18/100 = 18% "Write it below you grid card" Pupils write. 2) Teacher repeats step (1) for 35 and 52 parts. 3) Teacher says "Now use another grid card and shade 98%". Pupils should shade 98 parts in the grid card "How many part are not shaded?". Pupils should answer "2" Teacher explain 100-2=98 so it is 98% "Now let us do together" 98% = 98/100 4) Teacher says "Now use another grid card and shade 100%". Pupils should shade all parts in the grid card Teacher explain 100% = 100/100 = 1 whole
