SRI TULASI PRANAMA (Recite when bowing to Tulasi) vrndayai tulasi-devyai priyayai kesavasya ca krsna-bhakti-prade devi satyavatyai namo

namah "I offer my repeated obeisances unto vrnda, Srimati Tulasi Devi, who is very dear to Lord Kesava [Krsna]. 0 goddess, you bestow devotional service to Lord Krsna and possess the highest truth." "My desire is that you will also grant me a residence in the pleasure groves of Sri Vrndavanadhama. Thus, within my vision I will always behold the beautiful pastimes of Radha and Krsna. "I beg you to make me a follower of the cowherd damsels of Vraja. Please give me the privilege of devotional service and make me your own maidservant. "This very fallen and lowly servant of Krsna prays,'May I always swim in the love of Sri Sri Radha and Govinda.'"

SRI TULASI PRADAKSINA MANTRA (Sing while circumambulating Tulasi) yani kani ca papani brahma-hatyadikani ca tani tani pranasyanti pradaksinah pade pade "By the circumambulation of Srimati Tulasi Devi all the sins one may have committed are destroyed at every step, even the sin of killing a brahmana." Srimati Tulasi Devi is worshiped in the morning, after mangalaarati, when all the devotees should attend to her worship and circumambulation. How to worship Srimati Tulasi Devi

Tulasi-puja is relatively simple, consisting of only three articles: incense, a ghee lamp, and flowers. Before the arati, offer obeisances to Tulasi Devi while chanting the Sri Tulasi pranama 3 times. While one devotee offers the puja articles, another may sing the Sri Tulasi kirtana. Achaman (purification) Take the spoon from the achaman cup and purify both hands by sprinkling water onto them. This is the process: Sprinkle a namah, and Sprinkle a namah, and Sprinkle a namah, and spoon full into your right palm, chant om keshavaya sip. spoon full into your right palm, chant om narayanaya sip. spoon full into your right palm, chant om madhavaya sip.

Offering incense Purify (sprinkle with a spoon full of water) the bell and the incense holder. Light the incense.

Pick up the bell in the left hand; ring the bell throughout the puja. Pick up the incense holder in the right hand and offer the incense to Tulasi with 7 circles around her whole form. Offer the incense to Srila Prabhupada and then to all the devotees. Offering the ghee lamp Purify the ghee lamp (sprinkle with a spoon full of water) and then light it. Offer it to Tulasi with 4 circles around the base, 2 around the middle, 3 around the top, and 7 around her whole form. Offer the ghee lamp to Srila Prabhupada and then to all the devotees. Offering flowers Purify the flowers (sprinkle with a spoon full of water). Offer them to Tulasi with 7 circles around her whole form. Place one at her base (optional). Offer them to Srila Prabhupada and then to all the devotees. While chanting the Sri Tulasi pradakshina mantra, devotees may then circumambulate Tulasi Devi at least 4 times. You can now serve the devotees by assisting them to purify their hands before they water Tulasi Devi. Sprinkle a little water from the achaman cup onto the devotees right hand. They may then water Tulasi Devi's roots with water from another cup. Please note that water is only offered in the morning, not evening. You may end the puja by once again offering obeisances while chanting the Sri Tulasi pranama. Planting, watering, protecting, caring for, circumambulating, seeing, bowing down to, praying to, and glorifying are all ways of serving and worshipping Srimati Tulasi Devi.
