Responsibilities and Job Profile Understanding client needs as being the first point of contact onsite, and to provide advice in assisting their major production decisions Leading the team onsite, managing and motivating the crew with technical and leadership skills to deliver quality service to the clients while taking full responsibility of the operations success. Acquiring data for formation evaluation and providing related wireline oilfield services, generating on average US$ 2.0mm p.a. Engineer-in-charge, responsible of managing operations and client relations of the oilfield base in the absence of manager. Direct manager to several crews, performing appraisals quarterly and managing their development. Responsible for local assets (logging units and tools). Managing resources (support staff, materials and supply) to ensure the assets are well maintained and fully functioning.

As a petroleum engineer, working for Schlumberger for past 3 years has improved my ability in managing a team, and making decisions in tough situations. It has also provided me with variety of experiences from working with local rig crews offshore Malaysia to interpreting logs and data, and organizing regular service quality meetings with clients. As I have become more acquainted to oilfield services and its demanding nature, I am looking forward to continuing my career in a fulltime engineering job in a major oil company in Canada, where I can utilize my engineering and management skills. Planning & execution of wireline logging assignments in the field to evaluate hydrocarbon reserves while working in time critical, high stress situations and managing operations of multi-million dollar equipment. Key responsibilities include project planning an d execution, people and time management, Asset management, technical data management, problem solving, Safety assurance and working closely with clients to help them achieve their goals and ensure their full satisfaction. Operation/project planning: Meeting with clients to discuss and plan service requirements for the jobs ahead. This process is followed by an operation plan at Schlumberger facility that includes gathering the tools/technologies required to perform the reservoir evaluation, tool combination, calibration and integrity check; Personnel assignment, certifications, transportation, preparation of all necessary documents for the job, challenges ahead & limitations, execution process, Safety and more. Operation/project execution: involves oper ating the planned tools and technologies by the engineer remotely from a control unit with a team that are assigned different duties during the job, and directly supervised by the engineer himself to ensure proper execution and safety as per plan. These tools are lowered to the potential hydrocarbon reservoir for hydrocarbon exploration. Technical data management: Once the tools are lowered, they start gathering technical data through its sensors revealing the reservoir characteristics. This confidential data is managed and analyzed by the engineer for its quality and proper functioning of the tools. The data is then properly packaged and secured then delivered to the client immediately after the job for full analysis. Post Operation: This process includes demobilizing of all the equipment on site and client follow up for any issues or challenges experienced during the job.

Assigned as Engineer In Charge for all exploration jobs in Ras Shukeir, Egypt and entrusted with Field Service Managers responsibilities during his absence. (Jul06 Jan07) Promoted from Junior to Senior Field Engineer in 2 years, which required rigorous technical training and evaluations in safety, financial accounting, marketing, personnel management, and asset management (Bombay, India) Performed all operational, logistical, managerial, and technical aspects associated with acquiring, interpreting, and delivering highest quality data to different clients on time Ensured service delivered at wellsite met highest standard s for safety, quality, and efficiency Maintained excellent relationship with international clients (ONGC, Reliance, BP, GUPCO) and was requested by clients as Lead Engineer on projects
