Executive Summary

Beverages are broadly classified under two categories -- Alcoholic and


Non-alcoholic. Globalization and liberalization policy in beverage industry
specially carbonated soft drink market affected after 1992, in 1993 after
long gap Multinational Corporation came into the market to start there
operation in India. Today mainly two major player in carbonated soft
drink industry Coca-Cola and Pepsi along with other local player, playing
big game in Indian market.

The Hindustan Coca-Cola beverages Pvt Ltd, a Coca cola Indian division is

environment and evolved the recent developments and happening in and
carbonated soft drink industry. Report provides the comprehensive
analysis of beverages market with different products with major
competitors in the market. Not only this but SWOT analysis explores the
areas of strengths, weakness, opportunity, and threats for the Coca-Cola
India.

On the basis of the research findings and comparative analysis, a


Hindustan coca cola beverage Pvt Ltd is having very bright future in this
competitive market. But has to concentrate on competitor’s analysis &
strategy specially local brands running to the market

As every coin has two sides, same is with the Hindustan Coca cola
beverages Pvt Ltd having both positive as well as negative points. But
during my project I realize that Hindustan Coca-Cola has nicely
outweighed it’s negative side.
