Who We Are
The Democratic Republican Party (DRP) is the newest political party in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. It was founded by Anesia Baptiste on 23rd August 2012. It brings new hope from service to the people, believes in peoples participatory power and stands on the watch words LIBERTY, EQUALITY and DEVELOPMENT

The distribution of 300 Schoolbags and stationery packs to elementary students The bringing together of volunteers to construct a new home for an elderly poor woman in Rose Bank, North Leeward Bringing Housing Assistance to a victim of Domestic Violence and Fire Damage, in Troumaca, North Leeward Facilitating distribution of over 61 Food and care packages to Less fortunate families.

What We Do
The DRP is a political party involved in humanitarian work to serve the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG). The service we provide is for ALL people based on need and we do not discriminate based on political affiliation. Our services include but are not limited to:

Sourcing Housing Assistance Providing Back to School Supplies support Distribution of Food Packages for the Less Fortunate Advocacy work on Issues such as Water needs of communities, Road Repairs, Welfare Assistance for victims of Abuse and Disasters etc.

The DRP believes in Democracy as a scientific method of electing government, where majority rules. It also believes in Republicanism-a philosophy of governance that emphasizes respect for and protection of the inalienable rights and freedoms of ALL of the people (majority and minority).

It has the youngest and only woman political leader It is a party for youth leadership and has great and workable ideas to bring moral, spiritual, social and economic development .

Domestic Development Plan (DDP)


The DRP will set up a Ministry of Domestic Development under the Domestic Development Plan. This plan will base the countrys development on protection of Rights and Freedoms.

Our story
This DRP was born out of the peoples call for a new hope and alternative to the current parties in SVG. The DRPs Leader & Founder-Anesia Baptiste is a 1998 national scholar who courageously stood up against anti-rights and freedoms policies of both main parties in SVG and was victimized politically as a result. In boldness and perseverance Baptiste started the DRP to continue to serve the people of SVG.
