Project Description : Now a days most of the process industries which need steam for their process are also going in for generation of power in their own plant. (Cogeneration plants). Since generation of power by using steam require high pressure & high temperature steam. The boilers installed will be of high pressure & high temperature. Most of the process requirement is met by turbine extraction at various pressures & by turbine exhaust. But some of the process equipment may require steam at low pressure & saturation temperature. Also makeup steam will be required when extraction load fluctuates/varies or when the turbo generator is shut down for maintenance. For this purpose steam from high pressure boiler is conditioned to suit the low pressure process requirement.
