Engines with 53.1 l and 70.8l displacement, V12 and V16 versions
with turbocharging and charge air cooling, four-valve technology.
The exhaust ducting with the PEARL system (Pulse Energy Advanced
Recovery Line) ensures high exhaust energy recovery.
The Hallo-Swirl system (High and Low Load Optimized) optimizes
combustion at all load points.

control, dual-frequency capability.

Exhaust system: Two turbochargers, exhaust manifolds, exhaust elbow with compensator.
Intake system: Intake manifold, closed-circuit crankcase breather with return pipe to intake manifold.
Filter: Air cleaner, fuel twin filter and partial-flow lube oil centrifuge.
Engine electrics: Starter motor with 9 kW for V 12 and 15 kW for V 16; contact makers for coolant overtemperature, low lube oil pressure,
