Children Home is a Non Governmental ChildWelfare Organisation whose objective is to provide long term care to children in need of care regardless of gender, color and religious affiliations. Nsungeni Childrens Home is located in Kapiri Mposhi District along Kulima Road Lukanda Plots.Currently the home is keeping thirteen (13) orphans at its premises; eighty boys and five girls aged between three months and seventeen years of age. MISSION Our mission is to come to the rescue of the Orphaned and Vulnerable Children (ovcs) from social isolation by providing counseling care and other related services to these children so that they can contribute to national development. This motivation behind Nsungeni Childrens Homes mission is the need to reduce the most distressing effects of HIV/AIDS, that is the increasing number of children who are in social isolation and suffering from social hardships.

Nsungeni Childrens Home is a Community based initiative Children Project that started in January, 2009 by a Widow named Mrs.Mary Chiwala Mwansa after she was tested HIV positive in 2006.She is now on ART.

Donations
How will your donation help the Orphans?
We have one home for stranded orphaned children. Its capacity is only 12 to 18 children. We are providing education, accommodation, meals, clothing and medication to the children in the home. We have staff who gives parental love and guidance. We also support many others on non-residential basis. The latter gets support in school fees and medications. Sometimes we help out with food too. In addition to the above, we also support many orphans on non-residential basis. These get support in form of spiritual support, school fees and medications. Sometimes we help out with food too.

What does it cost to help ?
