What ProductWatch Is and How it Works

Your contract manufactured products arrive in the U.S. and move through the distribution system to retail store shelves. SES purchases these products directly from retail stores in at least eight different major metropolitan markets. Products are purchased at random intervals, so manufacturers never know when testing will occur. Samples are immediately shipped to SES labs in Cincinnati, Houston and New Orleans where testing is done. Specic tests differ depending upon product, but at a minimum, SES typically looks at: Performance Does the product do what its supposed to do? Dimensions, t & nish, trend over time Materials Are the materials what you specied? Assembly procedure Is it put together as designed? Assembly components Is it made from the right parts?
