TECHNICAL ABILITIES
•Highly trained in the traditional printmaking mediums of lithography, intaglio, relief,
letterpress and silkscreen.
•Experience with the use of photopolymer etching and relief plates, photo litho
processes and photo stencils for silkscreen.
•Knowledge of the proper usage of chemicals and products to etch and prepare
plates, stones and screens; familiarity with various types of inks and additives.
•Understanding of the care and usage of litho and etching presses as well as
Vandercook letterpresses and equipment.
•Experience in organizing an efficient print shop including providing technical
assistance and guidance to its users.
•Training in the use of Adobe Creative Suite software; experience with prepress and
production on large scale inkjet printers.
