Robot 1. Team must build a wireless controlled DC propulsion vehicle. 2. Following skills will be tested: a. Ball hitting b. Driving skills c. Speed d. Power e. Suspension system (optional)

Designing and Fabrication 1. Parts to be fabricated by participant a. The chassis b. The body cover c. Steering mechanism(differential, axial, rack pinion or any other) d. Platforms for electronics, DC battery e. Suspension mounts(optional) f. Ball hitting mechanism 2. Parts to be acquired from market a. Suspension springs, shock absorbers(optional) b. Tires and wheels

Game field 1. Game field will consist of 2 speed breakers, a zigzag path, an inclined wedges, a jump of height 40mm and balls at a constant height of 100 mm, which have to be hit.

Game Play Round 1 The time duration for each team will be 5 minutes. The arena will be without any of the above mentioned obstacles in the first round except the balls at 100 mm height which have to be hit. The point scored in this round will be noted down. Once all the balls are hit by the bot, the team will go for second lap and will continue to hit the balls. Similarly, team will be provided multiple laps till the times up.

Round 2 The time duration for each team in this round will be 7 minutes. The arena will have all the obstacles to complicate the path. There will be points for crossing every obstacle. In this round, there will be only one lap.

In this round, RC cars of the participant must have fully charged battery. The track during this round will be haphazard and long with the above mentioned hurdles. So, it is suggested to prevent overheating of their engine.

Robot Specification 1. The bot must fit in a box of dimensions s (250mmx250mmx250mm). The radio controller which is used to control the machine is not included in the size constraint. 2. The machine should be controlled by a wireless remote control mechanism throughout the race. 3. Only wireless RF remote is allowed. 4. The machine may be roughly classified into structural and functional parts: Functional parts - Gears, differential gear, springs, shock absorbers, DC motors, batteries, wheels and wheel hubs Structural parts - Chassis, steering mechanism, shock towers and suspension (excluding upper suspension arm, suspension spring and shock absorbers), Ball hitter. 5. Readymade gears, shafts may be used. 6. For each part, the participant fabricate, team will be given 25 points.

Power Supply 1. The machine must have an onboard power supply to provide power to any mech anism requiring electric power. 2. The potential difference between any two points on the machine should not exceed 12V at any point of time. 3. Current through control circuit should not exceed 800 mA at any point of time.

Game Rules 1. Each team will have to take part in both rounds. There will be no qualification round. 2. The machines are not allowed to leave any loose parts or any other part in the track or in the arena. Any machine disintegrating during either of the rounds will be disqualified. 3. There would be checkpoints in both the rounds, if bot goes out of arena or is not able to move forward, the team can take a restart from previous checkpoint. 4. The teams must adhere to the spirit of healthy competition. Judges reserve the right to disqualify any team indulged in misbehaviour. 5. If the machine is found unsafe to run on the track, that team will be disqualified from the race. 6. All vehicles should have a complete body covering all internal mechanisms of the vehicle. It is encouraged to have a protective shield to prevent damages to the mechanisms. 7. At the time of registration, teams will be provided with a registration number. 8. The organizers reserve the right to change any or all of the above rules as they deem fit. Change in rules if any will be highlighted in the website and will be notified to the registered participants.

Judging Criteria 1. Round 1 Score=25x(Number of balls hit) 2. Round 2 a. 30x(Number of balls hit) b. 20 points for crossing speed breakers c. 40 points for crossing 15 degree inclined platform (team will be awarded points only once for crossing the inclined platform) d. 50 points for successful jump

3. Total score= round 1 score + round 2 score Winners will be the one having maximum score. *In case of same score, winner will be decided based on the least time taken by team during round 2. Team Specification A team may consist of at least 2 members and should not exceed more than 5 members. It is not mandatory for all the members of a team to be from the same educational institution. Eligibility Criteria Only school kids i.e. from classes 8th to 12th can participate. The students must carry valid student ID cards of their college/school which they will be required to produce at the time of registration. Teams may participate with only one car. Only team members can drive the car. Participants shall not be allowed to be part of more than one team. There is no restriction to the number of teams participating from same educational institute. Certificate Policy Certificate of excellence will be provided to the top 3 teams. Certificate of participation will be provided to all the finalists.
