Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and confessions, and read the Bible Story with scripture references indicated under the power outlets. As this is done each day, let your child color in or put a sticker on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional. At the end of the week please sign as proof of completion and return to the teacher. Children who complete 3 weeks Power Cords in a month will have their Picture posted in the foyer of Power Source and their name in the newsletter.

As Christians we must learn to live in two different worlds-the natural and the spirit world.

John 4:24, God is a spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.

Father God, Thank you for loving me and taking care of me. Bless my church, Pastors Ron and Hope. Bless my teachers for teaching me Your Word. I believe your love is flowing through me to other people. Help me to obey my parents so things will go well with me and I will live a long life on the earth. I will tell how great you are and how much I love you. I thank You that by Jesus stripes I am healed. In Jesus' name, Amen

When I have believed on Jesus as my Savior and received him, the Sprit Himself bears witness with my spirit that I am a child of God. Romans 8:16 I believe on Jesus and the works that He did I shall do also. Greater works than these I will do because Jesus went to His Father. John 14:12 I will be filled with the Holy Ghost and will speak in other tongues as the Spirit gives me utterance. Acts 2:4

We know how to get along in the natural world but God gave us a spirit and we must learn how to get along in the spirit world, too. When the Bible talks about our hearts it means our spirits. This is not the same as the part of our body that we feel beating in our chest and pumping blood to our bodies. The Bible is talking about our spiritual heart where the deepest feelings live. Our heart, or spiritman lives in the center of the deepest part of our insides. Jesus even calls this our belly in John 7:38. Since this is where our spirit is located, this is where we will hear God. He puts His thoughts inside our hearts. Elisha was a man who had learned to see and hear with his spirit; he heard Gods instructions and he obeyed. When we listen, we will hear, and when we hear God, lets obey.
