Job Responsibilities

Planning and Managing:

Perform business process analyses and reach sound, logical conclusions regarding client needs and business requirements. Understand and apply the analysis of functional requirements to the development of systems proposals, specifications and recommendations for efficient, cost effective technology solutions Provide the optimum level of engineering application maintenance and support services to provide measurable, consistently high levels of customer satisfaction. Provide engineering solution and application consulting services as well as maintain excellent communications among engineering community and IT support staff. Provide recommendations on appropriate engineering application management works and best practices for production allocation and related applications. Check and monitor application data streams as well as communicate to engineers when data accuracy and discrepancy are identified Raise critical issues and identify problems with applications within adequate time frames to allow for timely resolution as well as ensure timely delivery and availability of application for engineering community. Administer, maintain, trouble-shoot and resolve problems, support engineering applications and associated data as well as provide testing of engineering application/tools with detailed descriptions of software bugs and enhancement requests in areas of responsibility. Responsible for supervising the data loading and capturing into engineering environment as well as application data management and routine maintenance of the engineering databases (including upgrades to new versions). Maintain engineering data quality through data error analysis and application data management in areas of Production Allocation (Energy Component) and related data. Understand the current engineering workflow procedures and recommend for productivity improvement in areas of responsibility. Maintain application software programs as well as add-on software modules and provide special/custom reports related to engineering data requirements for engineering operations and analysis. Understand utilization of responsible engineering applications to solve and analyze engineering problems as well as recommend enhancement to engineering applications and related engineering data as appropriate. Meet regularly with infrastructure and database analysts to review system performance and review service quality as well as communicate routinely with engineering community and IT professionals regarding engineering applications and data supports. Act as the first point of contact for engineering application systems in problem escalation. Mentor less experienced peers and customers in the technical aspects of engineering applications utilization and functionality to address engineering requirements. Develop documents for application functional procedures to enhance data processing and improve analysis through the integrated usage of engineering applications and tools. Maintain high levels of competence in maintenance and support methods for engineering database & end-user application support.

Be accountable for ensuring compliance with Company and IT business policies and standards relating to information security and application management. Maintain knowledge of rules, procedures, standards, guidelines and practices required for works as well as understand and proactively perform roles and responsibilities required by compliance and information security policies to address information protection and security risks.

Qualifications (Education, Work Experience, English and Computer Skills) Bachelor degree or higher in Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines. Petroleum Engineering degree is an advantage. Extensive experience in engineering application support, data administration and analysis in areas of production allocation (Energy Component) and engineering processes. Knowledge and experience in engineering and IT computing environment is preferred. Insight on engineering-related works/requirements and Windows-based scripting/programming is beneficial. Skillful in SQL, PL/SQL, SSRS is the must Skillful in .Net is preferred Well-developed interpersonal and team working skills Disciplined and structured work habits Fluent in English with TOEIC score at least 650 for PSG 21 and 700 for PSG 22
