PROGRAM BACKGROUND
Solar PV Engineer Certificate Program is a comprehensive training program being organized with focus on Solar PV Power Plants which would provide a good exposure of various components of an operational Solar PV System (Basics, Components, Design, Engineering, Implementation, Maintenance etc) , to the participants. The workshop shall include hands -on exercises on the Solar PV System behavior, and shall be followed by interactions and visits to some of the related industry / installation in and around Hyderabad -

Galileo Master Certificate Exam (optional)


The internationally recognised Galileo Master Certificate has earned strong reputation and it has been awarded to high-profile companies such as Coca Cola, the Royal Air Force, Ferrero, Fiat, Honeywell. This Certificate is recognised by many clients and potential employers as important evidence of the personal qualifications of the workforce. The exam papers are written by the faculty who are involved in delivering the courses, and relate to the content of the material covered during the courses, which are based on the European-funded Project EMTEU Energy Management Technician in Europe. The tests designed to achieve the Galileo Master Certificate are rigorously and continuously assessed by the EMTEU committee at the EEC, to ensure that they meet a consistent standard of knowledge expected within the industry

FACULTY*
Mr. N R Rao
Mr. N R Rao has been associated with solar photovoltaic industry for more than 30 years. He has successfully headed a Solar P V Modules and BOS component Manufacturing and Systems Integration Company in the Middle East for 20 years. Under his leadership, the company has designed, installed and commissioned several challenging projects for Telecom, Oil & Gas Industry, Defense and other Government organizations in different countries. In Saudi Arabia, he worked as an Electrical Engineer for Saudi Arabian National Centre for Science and Technology. During this period he was actively involved in the 100 million dollar Solar Energy Research Program (1980 86) between United States and Saudi Arabia. Under this program, the Worlds first 350 KW Concentrated Photovoltaic Power Plant with 3.4 Megawatts of D G capacity having standalone / hybrid / grid interactive modes of operation feeding power to three remote villages near Riyadh, Saudi Arabia was installed. The plant with the advanced technology is fully computer controlled with data acquisition system recording real time data for research. He was actively involved in installation, operation and maintenance of the plant. He worked closely with several International Organizations and co-authored and presented technical papers in International Seminars. He was actively involved in the establishment of Solar Energy Laboratory and trained young Engineers / Technicians. In India as an independent consultant, he has designed, installed and commissioned the countrys first grid connected rooftop P V Power Plant (5 KW Peak) for Engineering Staff College of India. He has also installed several P V Systems for BHEL and CEL. As a consultant to Engineering Staff Collage of India, he has conducted training programs in Solar P V Technology for Managers and Engineers. He is presently engaged as Technical Advisor / Project Consultant to companies in PV industry. He is an Electrical Engineering graduate from JNTU Hyderabad and formerly worked with South Central Railway and A P State Electricity Board.

Mr. Nivas Vallavan


Mr. Nivas Vallavan is a research scholar at Institute for Energy Studies, Chennai. He is also a consultant for a few companies in Chennai and Bangalore where he is working on designing Solar Plants of various capacities. He has designed plants from kW to 1 MW. He has also conducted various training programs on EPC, Research on Solar, Solar Simulation Softwares etc.

Mr. Sriphani Vissamraju


Mr. Raju is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of YesSV LLC US and YesSV Energy & Infrastructure at Hyderabad. He has more than 20 years in diverse roles in the high-tech engineering & solar areas and has worked in USA, Singapore, Taiwan, Philippines and India. After completing his MS in Physics & Electrical Engineering from US, he is a certified energy practicianer with NABCEP certification. His passion lies in Solar Photovoltaics and systems: Design, System Integration, Installation, Commissioning, Consultancy & Training .

Dr. Srinivasan Vathsal


Mr. Vathsal is currently Prinicipal at Bhaskar Engineering College. He has served various organizations like ISRO, DRDO, PSGCT, OU, NASA, DFVLR, VIT and JB Group. He has keen interest in Solar PV technology and has worked extensively in this technology area for last many years.
