2 * * 12/01/2007 * ************************************************************************* This document contains three sections: A) Supported part numbers B) The upgrade procedure C) The release history for SMCWEBT-G ========================================================================= Section A: Supported part numbers ========================================================================= This firmware supports products with the following part numbers: 751.8103 751.8104 752.8693 752.8694 The part number is printed on the label on the bottom of the unit. If your produ cts part number is not listed above do NOT use this firmware. To download the co rrect firmware check the support section of our website making sure to select th e correct part number. ========================================================================= Section B: Upgrade Procedure ========================================================================= 1. Turn on the Wireless Ethernet Bridge and plug it into your network adapter u sing the Ethernet port. 2. Connect to the Web user interface by typing the Wireless Ethernet Bridge's I P Address (ex: 192.168.2.25)in your browser, then click the login button (if you have not already set a password - otherwise enter in the correct password) 3. Click on the "Advanced" link, then click on "Maintance" and then "Firmware U pgrade" option. The "Firmware Upgrade" screen will appear. 4. Click the "Browse" button and point it to the location of the firmware file. 5. Next click the "Apply" button and follow the prompts. You will notice the li ghts on the Barricade will react in a certain sequence. Wait patiently while th e SMCWEBT-G reboots itself. 6. Your SMCWEBT-G has now been successfully upgraded. Note: It is recommended that once you upgrade your router with this f/w you rese t the unit to factory defaults. ========================================================================= Section C: Firmware History ========================================================================= V1.09.2: - Remove Enable/Disable selection in security->802.1X page to let user use easil y. - Add WPA-TKIP only in SetupWizard step 3.
