Brief on Online Payments/Topup through BSNL Mobile App

1. Introduction
BSNL introduces a new mobile application for Android / Windows mobile phones/Tablets users. BSNL considers developing this app with enhanced functionality. Provides real-time information to customers about the pending bills, facilitating payments and Prepaid top ups with ease of operation from anywhere and anytime. 1.1. About My BSNL App

The objective of this App is to enable the customers to pay Postpaid bills and Prepaid Top up online through Mobiles/Tablets. In the present scenario for accessing e-services offered by BSNL, it is essential to visit http://portal.bsnl.in through Desktop/ Laptop. In order to improve the reach of e-services to BSNL customers, it is planned to launch Mobile/Tablet based application. This Mobile/Tablet based access to the online payment gateway breaks the barriers and limitation of sticking on to a location with PC/laptop and gives flexibility to pay and reach the service on mobility. This application also gives flexibility to reach the nook and corner of India with easier penetration. BSNL considers this mobile application is important to reach customers proactively in facilitating bill payments in Landline/Wireless (GSM/CDMA/WiMAX Post paid /Pre Paid) segments. BSNLs goal with this mobile application is to provide Android /Windows Mobile/Tablet users a visually appealing, user-friendly application which facilitates a hassle free payment mechanism to either Prepaid Top up or to pay Post paid bills.

2. Explore My BSNL App.

2.1 Download: Download My BSNL App from App Store. 2.2 Install: Click the downloaded file and get installed. 2.3 Registration: Accept the Terms & Conditions. Enter Contact Details : Mobile Number and email ID.

3. Basic Operations.

Post paid (Landline / GSM/CDMA/WiMAX):

To Check your outstanding bill amount To Pay Bills To get Payment receipt to your contact details mentioned in profile.

Prepaid(GSM):

To Check your balance To Topup any BSNL Mobile Number.

To load Special Tariff Voucher. To get Payment receipt to your contact details mentioned in profile.

Landline Bill Payment: a) Click on Landline icon in Home screen. b) Enter the Phone number and Account number and click on Submit. c) The billing details will be displayed on the screen. d) Click on Pay Now for Payment. e) Select the desired payment option i.e., Credit/Debit/Cash cards/Net banking/Pay through IMPS. f) Complete the Payment in the Banks website. g) A receipt for successful payment will be displayed on screen and a confirmation issued through SMS. h) A receipt in PDF format also will be sent through email.

3.2. Postpaid: 3.1.1. GSM Bill Payment

a) Click on Mobile icon in Home screen. b) Select the service as Mobile. c) Enter the Postpaid Mobile number, Account number and click on Submit. d) The billing details will be displayed on the screen. e) Click on Pay Now for Payment. f) Select the desired payment option i.e., Credit/Debit/Cash cards/Net banking/Pay through IMPS. g) Complete the Payment in the Banks website. h) A receipt for successful payment will be displayed on screen and a confirmation issued through SMS. i) A receipt in PDF format also will be sent through email. 3.1.2. CDMA Bill Payment a) Click on Mobile Icon in Home screen. b) Select the service as CDMA. c) Enter the CDMA number and Account number and click on Submit. d) The billing details will be displayed on the screen. e) Click on Pay Now for Payment. f) Select the desired payment option i.e., Credit/Debit/Cash cards/Net banking/Pay through IMPS. g) Complete the Payment in the Banks website. h) A receipt for successful payment will be displayed on screen and a confirmation issued through SMS. i) A receipt in PDF format also will be sent through email.

3.1.3. Wi MAX Bill Payment

a) Click on Mobile Icon in Home screen. b) Select the service as Wi MAX. c) Enter the WiMAX User ID and Account number and click on Submit. d) The billing details will be displayed on the screen. e) Click on Pay Now for Payment. f) Select the desired payment option i.e., Credit/Debit/Cash cards/Net banking/Pay through IMPS. g) Complete the Payment in the Banks website. h) A receipt for successful payment will be displayed on screen and a confirmation issued through SMS. i) 3.2. Prepaid: 3.2.1. Talk time TopUp a) b) c) d) Click on Prepaid Icon in Home screen. Select the Talk time Top UP option. Enter the BSNL Prepaid mobile number. Enter the required amount (Minimum of Rs.50 and Maximum of Rs.5000 in multiples of Rs.10). e) Click on Submit for payment. f) Select the desired payment option i.e., Credit/Debit/Cash cards/Net banking/Pay through IMPS. g) Complete the Payment in the Banks website. h) A receipt for successful payment will be displayed on screen and a confirmation issued through SMS. i) A receipt in PDF format also will be sent through email. Special Tariff Voucher

a) Click on Prepaid Icon in Home screen.

b) Select the Special Tariff Voucher option. c) Select the desired option among 1.Data 2.Voice 3.ISD 4.SMS 5.Others. d) Scroll down and Select the required Voucher. e) Click on Submit for payment. f) Select the desired payment option i.e., Credit/Debit/Cash cards/Net banking/Pay through IMPS. g) Complete the Payment in the Banks website. h) A receipt for successful payment will be displayed on screen and a confirmation issued through SMS. i) A receipt in PDF format also will be sent through email.

Plan / Migration Voucher

a) Click on Prepaid Icon in Home screen.

b) Select the Plan Voucher option. c) Select the desired option among 1. Validity Extension 2.Migration. d) Scroll down and Select the required Voucher. e) Click on Submit for payment. f) Select the desired payment option i.e., Credit/Debit/Cash cards/Net banking/Pay through IMPS. g) Complete the Payment in the Banks website. h) A receipt for successful payment will be displayed on screen and a confirmation issued through SMS.

i) A receipt in PDF format also will be sent through email.

4. Manage Accounts.
a) You can Add / Delete an account related to Landline / Mobile. b) Simply click the Bill button against the available account to view the bill details instantaneously. c) Click on Submit for payment.

5. Payment History.
a) You can view payment history of last five transactions.

1. What is BSNL app? The BSNL app is a native application that can be downloaded on your Desktop/Laptop or Mobile/Tablet. This application can currently be downloaded on the compatible devices. This application enables you to pay postpaid bills and prepaid Top up through your Desktop/Laptop or Mobile/Tablet. 2. How to download the BSNL App? The BSNL App can be down loaded from App Store. 3. Is there any cost for downloading the BSNL App? There is no cost for downloading the "BSNL App" from any of the sources. However, usual download charges as per the data connection you are using will apply for downloading the application as well as accessing the same. 4. Can I use this BSNL App in my non BSNL mobile? Yes. This application works across all operators. However, in case you are using the application on a non BSNL mobile, that mobile number must be a registered at the time of installation and can be modified later. 5. What type of services I can avail through this APP?

6. How can I Topup my prepaid mobile? Click on BSNL logoSelect prepaid Enter the prepaid BSNL mobile Number Select Top up option and select/enter denomination Click on Submit Select the desired payment option Complete the payment in Banks web site The mobile Number will be recharged and you will receive the SMS/email accordingly.

7. How can I avail STVs/Plan Vouchers?

Procedure is same as in case of Topup.

8. How do I avail the special offers for my prepaid mobile? You can avail special offers as and when BSNL announces.

9. How can I know all about various 3G/2G data packs for my prepaid mobile? All 2G/3G data packs will be available in STVs under Prepaid Special Tariff Voucher DATA.

10. How can I pay GSM post paid bills using this app? Click on BSNL logoSelect Mobile Select option Mobile Enter the Post paid BSNL mobile Number and Account Number Click on Submit Bill Details will be displayed Click on Proceed to Pay Select the desired payment option Complete the payment in Banks web site The mobile Number will be recharged and you will receive the SMS/email accordingly.

11. How can I view the outstanding bill amount for my post paid mobile? Click on BSNL logoSelect Mobile Select option Mobile Enter the Postpaid BSNL mobile Number and Account Number Click on Submit Bill Details will be displayed.

12. How can I pay Landline/Broadband bills using this app? Click on BSNL logoSelect Landline Enter BSNL Landline Number and Account Number Click on Submit Bill Details will be displayed Click on Proceed to Pay Select the desired payment option Complete the payment in Banks web site A receipt for successful payment will be issued through SMS and E-mail to the registered one.

13. How can I view my outstanding Landline bill amount?

Click on BSNL logoSelect Landline Enter BSNL Landline Number and Account Number Click on Submit Bill Details will be displayed.

14. How to edit my profile? Click on profile Icon in the menu bar Profile page will be displayed Click on Edit Enter your contact details Click on Save.

15. What Mobile devices in which the BSNL App will work? BSNL App will function on all Android / Windows Mobiles/Tablets.

16. How do I uninstall the BSNL App? Go to Menu Settings Applications Manage Applications BSNL App Uninstall.

17. How can I register a complaint? Yes, you can register a complaint by contacting the respective Customer service Numbers. For Land Line-1500; Broad Band-1504; Mobile-1503.
