FINANCIAL ASSISTANT
Salary Grade is based on U. S. Mission Local Compensation Plan
Position Summary: The Financial Assistant serves as a member of the Management & Operations Team: The Financial Assistant works with the Management & Operations Team to perform administrative, financial and travel functions that support Volunteers and Staff. Duties include processing of invoices, vouchers, financial planning, records management, booking international travel and other assorted duties. QUALIFICATIONS: Three or more years of administrative and financial experience. Bachelors degree or greater in Finance, Accounting or Business helpful. Background in Travel planning and procurements. Exceptional and proven written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrate keen sense of cultural awareness for both Liberian and American cultures. Excellent customer service skills. Demonstrate high proficiency in Microsoft products with experience in Excel, Work, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Must be very organized, accurate, efficient and have the ability to prioritize many projects at one time. Must be solution oriented and resourceful in problem solving. Excellent organizational skills with experience in cataloging and archiving records. Adaptability to web based programs and experience with technology a plus. Ability to work effectively with a team. Ability to work independently as needed to support the group effort. POSITION WILL BE SUBJECT TO A BACKGROUD CHECK CLEARANCE.
