Title: SEMINAR ON HEALTH AND NUTRITION Rationale: Training Goal and Objectives: Goal: To heighten awareness and widen understanding of parents on health and nutrition and foster responsible parenthood. Objectives: At the end of the activity, the participants will be able to: 1. Define Mother and Child care concepts 2. Identify the basic precautions and tips on maternal and child care and nutrition 3. CONCEPT OF MATERNAL CARE II. CONCEPT Methodology a. FILM VIEWING: This will be used shortly for the participants to relate or reflect on which is associated with the topics of the training. The film is to showcase the present situation and issues on maternal and child care and nutrition in the Philippines, particularly in the areas of Baguio City and Benguet Province. b. LECTURE: The speakers will be using lecture with the aid of a power point presentation to discuss the topics on the seminar. c. GROUP DISCUSSION: This method will be used to address the questions and concerns of the participants. They will be discussing as a group together with the assigned speaker. (Question and Answer) d.
